CyberGhost VPN is a VPN client for Windows, MacOS, Android and iOS that provides anonymity and security on the Internet. Uses secure servers between your computer and ISP to encrypt traffic and spoof your real IP address
CyberGhost VPN allows you to browse the web in the usual way, but hiding your real IP address, as all traffic passes through dedicated servers of the CyberGhost online service located in Europe and the USA.
The Internet is not an anonymous space. Each time you make a new connection, you get a unique IP address from your ISP that clearly identifies you for the duration of the online session (and long afterwards).
Being online leaves a long trail that allows third parties to track your preferences, purchasing behavior, online transactions, opinions, and more.
With CyberGhost VPN, you can enter the Internet under the protection of virtual private networks. Your real IP address will be hidden, protecting you from spyware and malware as well.
The VPN client is available in a free 7-day trial and Premium version. The free version can only be installed on one computer and only one account can be activated on each computer, while Premium accounts provide more features and capabilities: increased Internet traffic and bandwidth, access to Premium and VIP servers (in addition to free) depending on the tariff, guaranteed service availability without server connection delays and technical support.

CyberGhost VPN is easy to install and all you have to do is create a free account. The main screen of the program resembles many antivirus and firewalls and is easy to manage and configure. The left menu shows the main functions of the program: connection status, list and map of servers, American video portals and CyberGhost AniSpy component offering basic settings to protect your computer from spyware threats. The main window of VPN-client displays the current state of the service (whether you’re anonymous or not), your real IP-address, information about the connected CyberGhost server at the moment (country, IP-address), current subscription status and amount of unspent free and Premium traffic.
You can choose several options when connecting to VPN: connect to free servers, create an automatic Premium connection, with the choice of country or from the general list.
Setting up CyberGhost VPN for Android without installing the app
Go to your personal account using the menu “Settings > My account > Open Account Management…”.
In the Smart Phones, Tablets & Other Devices tab select Android – there will be manual settings of the Android device with your data.
These settings can be exported to other clients, such as OpenVPN for Android.
