Avast Premier 2019

Avast Premier is an extended version of the free antivirus program on your computer for automatic protection against malware at home.

The application is equipped with modules separately for each type of threat, and as a whole it is a modular complex with all the necessary tools for effective protection and performance of the set tasks.

When installing the application on a computer, the user will have the option to disable these or other modules, depending on what needs to be included in the protective complex, for example, if the computer is inside the local area or no connection to the Internet, perhaps such an option the firewall and will not be required, and can be disabled, thereby saving computing resources of a weak computer.

One of the interesting solutions that I liked about Avast Premier was the ability to filter web sites in the so-called AutoSandbox, which works similarly to virtual machines. If a user downloads a file or program from the Internet, they first run in the sandbox and, if there is no threat, the antivirus skips the file and allows the user to work with it fully.

The antivirus module detects and removes potentially unwanted programs within the operating system, in directories, files and documents. Which, in turn, may have been downloaded before Avast was installed. Avast also detects spyware, keyloggers, keyloggers that are usually used to steal passwords and logins to web sites or online services.

Avast also has a module for securely deleting files, folders and entire partitions without the possibility of recovery, such measures are often necessary to protect data, for example, if the data was on someone else’s hard drive, in cases of standard system deletion from the trash, files can be recovered with specialized utilities or even equipment.

In recent versions, Avast Premier has been equipped with four new features:

• HTTPS Secure Scan – scans HTTPS websites for malware and other threats.
• Secure DNS Protection – prevents redirects from the DNS server.
• Intelligent Scan technology – allows you to scan your system, network and search for updates for installed software with a single click.
• Lastly, Home Network Security performs a network scan to identify vulnerabilities that could compromise or facilitate an attack on your home router and network.

For the users who often make payments on web sites or use internet banking, not to be out of place is the SafeZone component which allows you to access the webpage in a secured and isolated environment.

In conclusion, the Polish company AVAST SOFTWARE is on the market for many years and has released many high quality and not very high quality programs, yes, there were some problematic programs that might have left an unpleasant aftertaste among users, but the commercial version came out a good enough product and noteworthy, and the cost is much lower, for example the same antivirus Kaspersky.
